North East of Arabia

In the framework of a project on the Arabian Peninsula focusing on the
preservation and presentation of natural and cultural heritage, Archaïos
produced an archaeological map covering an area of 2,300 km² through
the analysis of high resolution aerial photography and created by means
of a geographical information system. The statement on cultural heritage
highlighted the cultural richness and variety of the studied area throughout
the millennia, largely unnoticed until now
